Anti Wrinkle Injections (Botulinum Toxin)
First 4 hours
- Remain upright and avoid lying down
- Avoid applying make up if possible
- Avoid touching, rubbing or applying pressure to the treated area
First 24 hours
- Avoid strenuous exercise
- Avoid alcohol consumption
- Avoid saunas, steam rooms and hot baths
- Do not undergo facial treatments or massages
Small bumps, redness or mild bruising may occur and usually settle quickly. Uneven results may be present during the first two weeks while the product begins to take effect. Results typically begin to appear within 3 to 7 days, with full effect visible at 10 to 14 days.
Dermal Fillers
First 24 hours
- Avoid touching or massaging the treated area unless advised by your practitioner
- Avoid alcohol consumption and strenuous exercise
- Avoid applying make up for 12 hours where possible
First 48 hours
- Avoid exposure to extreme heat such as saunas, steam rooms and sunbeds
- Avoid facials or other skin treatments
Mild swelling and bruising are common following treatment and may appear uneven initially. These effects should settle within approximately two weeks. Sleep slightly elevated on the first night if possible. Avoid applying pressure to the treated area. Ice may be applied gently to help relieve discomfort and reduce swelling.
Please contact the clinic immediately if you experience severe pain, excessive swelling, colour changes to the skin, blanching or any signs of infection.
Skin Boosters
First 24 hours
- Avoid applying make up

- Avoid strenuous exercise and alcohol consumption
First 48 hours
- Avoid heat exposure such as saunas, steam rooms and sunbeds
- Avoid swimming

Small papules or bumps at the injection sites are normal and usually resolve within 24 to 72 hours. Ice may be applied gently to help relieve discomfort and reduce swelling.
Microneedling
First 24 hours
- Do not apply make up
- Avoid sweating and strenuous exercise
- Avoid touching the skin unnecessarily
First 48 hours
- Avoid active skincare products such as retinol, alpha hydroxy acids, beta hydroxy acids and vitamin C
- Avoid direct sun exposure
- Use a gentle cleanser and hydrating skincare products
The skin may appear red and feel similar to mild sunburn for 24 to 48 hours following treatment. Daily sun protection with SPF 30 or higher is strongly recommended.
PDO Threads
First 24 hours
- Avoid touching or massaging the treated area
- Avoid excessive facial movements
- Sleep on your back where possible
First 7 days
- Avoid strenuous exercise
- Avoid dental treatments
- Avoid facials or other skin procedures
Mild swelling, bruising and tightness may occur following treatment. Avoid opening the mouth widely, such as when yawning or taking large bites, if threads have been placed in the lower face. Ice may be applied gently to help relieve discomfort and reduce swelling.
Dermaplaning
First 24 hours
- Avoid applying make up where possible
- Avoid sweating and strenuous exercise
- Avoid heat exposure such as saunas or steam rooms
First 48 hours
- Avoid exfoliating products or active skincare ingredients
- Avoid direct sun exposure
Use gentle skincare products and apply daily sun protection.
Vitamin Injections
First 24 hours
- Avoid strenuous exercise
- Avoid touching or rubbing the injection site
Mild tenderness or redness at the injection site is normal and should resolve shortly after treatment. Keep the area clean and dry. Ice may be applied if required to relieve discomfort or reduce swelling.
Mole and Skin Tag Removal
First 24 hours
- Keep the treated area clean and dry
- Avoid touching, rubbing or picking the treated area
- Avoid applying make up directly to the area
First 48 hours
- Avoid swimming pools, saunas and steam rooms
- Avoid strenuous exercise that may cause excessive sweating
A small scab will normally form over the treated area. This is part of the natural healing process and should be allowed to fall away naturally. Do not pick or remove the scab, as this may increase the risk of scarring.
The treated area may appear red, slightly swollen or tender for a few days following treatment.
Keep the area clean and apply any recommended aftercare products as advised by your practitioner.
Avoid direct sun exposure to the treated area and apply sun protection once the skin has healed.
Healing time varies depending on the size and location of the lesion but typically takes between 7 to 14 days.
